I <3 WidgetLocker Lockscreen

Yes, it should. I can test later maybe and see how it reacts on my phone.

I was just suggesting a possible workaround as well.

i just bought it. i think i'll keep it. it just a little inconsistent at times. like, i have my pattern lock set at 5 minutes, but it shows up before 5 minutes at times. it's a little random. also, i have a slacker widget playing on my lock screen. when i click the slacker app, then click back it takes me back to the lock screen. however, when i click the slacker screen then click home it automatically unlocks it and takes me to the homescreen even when i have "allow home button" unchecked. i would expect it to take me back to the lock screen.

Won't buy even if it spits out money for one simple reason. It was .99 and when I finally went to buy it it's doubled in price.
Sry Widgetlocker, ur not THAT precious.

The dev clearly stated on the market that the $0.99 was an introductory price to get people to buy the app at a cheaper price now rather than a higher price later. If you buy apps, you'll notice a number of developers do this type of marketing. Your loss that you missed the introductory price but I don't see why you have to dis it like so.

This app is so worth it for its simple convenience; I don't need to unlock my phone to change my phone settings. Another reason is that instead of buying MixZing to get the lock screen widget feature, I simply put the widget onto widget locker for the same feature for 1/6 of the price.

WidgetLocker is one of the cheaper lock screen replacements even at $1.99. The 99 cent price was an introductory price as Roze stated, but even if it wasn't I don't see why it should matter that it's increased over time. WidgetLocker 1.2.0 (when I raised the price) was far superior to WidgetLocker 1.0. The people that paid $0.99 for WidgetLocker 1.0 had to deal with bugs and lack of features. As WidgetLocker matured so did the price. I'm glad the 1.0 users got it for cheaper because I really needed their feedback to improve WidgetLocker. I don't feel bad charging $1.99 now because it's well worth it.

If you don't want to buy it that's fine. But this anti-paid-app attitude is not healthy for Android and is discouraging for developers. I'm not some Microsoft, I'm some guy that spends my evenings/nights/weekends slaving over a keyboard cranking out Android code.

What is this IF I buy apps? Most apps I have bought are twice this price and a handful were much more. I don't get this IF I buy apps deal.

I'm just not falling into the buy a bugged app deal which is exactly why I wait. Alot of devs post their apks or a link to their site offering for folks to test their apps before they're ready for market to help with bugs and such.

I make no apologies for my post and I could be much more brutally honest but I won't. I'm saying I've seen this strategy before and it's something I can't support yet it goes on day in and day out.

Probably the saddest thing is that in 6 months, something similar will come out that's free and everyone else will jump on that bandwagon too. : /
Good luck to WL

Just downloaded the new update today, it is awesome! When I first downloaded the app I made 2 recommendations to the developer, he responded quickly to my email and with this update both of my recommendations have now been implemented:

1. Option to disable widgets on the lockscreen, as the widgets I have I only want to see not interact with
2. Pop up SMS do not show until until unlocked, I use handcent

This app is now perfect for me. Great developer and one of my favorite apps, free or paid. He deserves every bit of money he gets for making such a great app. Honestly the app is WORTH $5-$10, $2 is a deal!

Well this is a better explanation then your previous post; which I have to say, seemed like you were simply complaining to never ever touch the app because the price went up. Everyone has their own reasons to do things or not to do things. So whatever works for you :)

As I do not know whether you buy apps or not, to be politcially correct, I used 'if'...seesh
