not really a tip, but learn to love NinjaMorph. change your status bar colors, and icons to ones you want.

dont use a task killer

don't use a virus scanner.

clear cache at least once a week (takes 15 seconds)

reboot phone once every couple days

clear battery stats once a month (this ensures the best battery life possible)

Why not use the task killer?

Android phones don't need them. The OS takes care of itself. And you don't need a task-killer to stop an app from running. You can do it yourself thru the phone's functions........ if you ever have to.

-Settings
-Applications
-Running services
-click on the app and and hit stop.

Most apps do what your phone can do already. They just take you to the final step.
