I got an extra Thunderbolt...what to do?

Ok here is my story. After months of searching for the release of this phone everyday we got word that the TBolt would finally release. The night before the release someone posted a link to Amazonwireless.com that was selling the TBolt for $179 on early upgrade. I went online and purchased the phone but when I went to finalize the transaction it said their was an error and they had to check into it.

As a result I went to Verizon the next morning and picked up the 2 phones I wanted.

After I bought the 2 phones I needed at Verizon I receive 2 emails from Amazonwireless.com. Those 2 emails are:

1. sorry we've had an issue with your order so please contact us
2. your package has been delivered and tracking number will come soon


So I call Amazonwireless customer service and she said their system shows I shouldnt have received the order but it sent anyways. She recommended I refuse shipment and when it arrives to amazon I will receive a refund.

But my question is can I just keep and sell this phone? Will anyone have an issue activating this?

I bought it for $179 and can sell it for hundreds more. What should I do?

Tough call, if you never activate it under your account then you may not have to pay amazons early termination fee (upwards of $350 i think?)

The ETF would be my biggest fear, but i'm not really sure how that works.

But how could I have early termination when I'm not terminating the phone line or changing it? I'm still keeping both lines and my agreement has nothing to do with my purchase of the phone with amazonwireless. My entire account was done at the verizon store.

Honestly I'm confused on what to do or what would happen.

It's not really that tough, is it? I think you're just looking for someone to tell you it's ok to steal this phone from Amazon. I know- you're not stealing it, you paid the $179, but really Amazon will pay more than that for the phone if you don't activate it, so in effect you are stealing it. Will they catch you and charge you the ETF (which they probably have the right to do)? Maybe, maybe not. Is what you're doing right? I'll let you answer that one!

Yeah...this is not a good idea. These devices are tracked and you cannot keep it and sell it. You got the phone at an on-contract price. You should refuse shipment and get a refund.
