Good luck, but I dont' think same account matters, I believe it is completely random, previously I had 2 Eris's on the same account and activated the same day and they received the 2.1 update about a week apart.
 
Pretty sure someone actually e-mailed HTC and got that response, and also that there's nothing wrong with bump charging since the phone itself is off and grounded.

Plus it was the most logical response I had ever heard and made the most sense so it's the one I put my chips behind. :)

Here is something strange. I restarted my phone and as it booted up and the praparing phone/SD appeared right after it showed one of those update icons and quickly disappears. I may be looking at my phone with a magnifying glass today, but I never noticed that before.

Is my phone trying to update? I check the About Phone area and the Market and there is nothing out there. Does anyone else see this or has seen it before. Just getting excited I guess.

Again Dallas is a nada.....yet :)

was hoping to have Froyo for breakfast. Oh well, maybe it'll be dessert for after dinner. Nothing here in NYC.
 
If and when the OTA 2.2 is pushed out will I be able to get it if I'm using a network extender and wifi? I don't get more than 1x data signal at home.

Yes. I thought VZW has good coverage around there, since they bought the Cellular one towers? Then again, the sharp valleys. I remember winters there had about five hours of light :eek:
