Mine did the same thing. I panicked but it's just churning and loading. I left it alone (mostly because I was driving) and it took care of itself.

Google Actions now installed - sweeeeet! (for the most part) :)

Battery is very hot when using GPS or web videos. Drains VERY fast :(

I don't know about the 'zippier' part. The internet feels the same to me, and I'm trying to upload a 12.3 MB video to my YouTube account and it's taking over an hour.

I now feel like Verizon doesn't like me and put me in the bottom of the list.. or, Verizon doesn't like some of us in Northern VA.. j/k..

Definitely not true for everyone. My phone, while fast on 2.1, flies on 2.2. Before I did a factory reset it was still snappier, but after the reset it's like the OTA dropped a 1.5 ghz in there.
 
supposedly phandroid has it straight from google. I for some reason really want to wait for the ota, but I had always read that if you dont update once its pushed out, your phone alerts ya every 30 min to do it, and since that isnt happening i guess ill give it another day or so and then go that route. Theres 5 incredible owners @ my work (including me) and I am the only one who hasn't got it yet, so its frustrating.
 
try to shut the phone off and turn it on again, it restores notifications when you do that so maybe it just might also restore the ota prompt
 
Well doesn't that just bite. I would have suggested the software click as well, but hmmm. Hope you get it again soon!

tried the date trick too but unfortunately it doesnt work, probably just a coincidence for those that got the update after changing the date

I thought so too. Went there when I was buying this thing almost 2 weeks ago and they said they'd order it for me but called around to the other stores and they actually had 2 DInc's in stock at the Fair Oaks store so I asked them to hold 1 for me till I got there and walked out with it. :) (only bad thing is I have to mail away for the $100 rebate instead of getting it instantly) .

Date will revert back to today's date. However the key was to try and put it weeks out. And within a few minutes it will go back. By puttign it weeks out it has been helpful to quite a few to trick the tower to sendign OTA to them.

It reverts back in 2 seconds if past 9/9/10. Anything before that and it will stay
 
I just got my update about on hour ago. I am currently in Malta on just a very crappy wifi connection and everything went smoothly.
