I just got an UPDATE!!!!

Newbie
.....but it was only a build update.
My old build number was DRC92 which changed to DMD64.
I have one of the "currently unrootable" phones and Im sure this update didnt help any.

Anyone know anything about this update and if it included anything else??
 
when you get an update notification, click on the More Info button before updating to see what's new.

As Zeek said, today's update just gives us "improved call service".
 
I received the update as well and now my phone won't load further than the Android logo screen. Anyone heard of this happening?
 
I to recieved a new update on my brand new mytouch 3g which is only 7 days old. I have a problem I really need everyones advice on. Like I said I just purchased this phone and its only 7 days old, but today my keyboard started acting crazy. When I type any key it will throw random letters..such as pressing the a you'd get aaadfdeadfd..stuff like that. I don't know whats going on and can't find much information about this. When I take the battery out it improves a little but not for very long and it quickly reverts back to doing this. I still have time to return this phone, but I'd hate to as I really really like it. Please give me some feed back. I've tried completely restoring the phone and it did nothing. It also will not even scroll the menu unless you use the track ball. I waited for two hours while it sat on the android logo screen. My battery went dead while I was waiting. I plugged in and turned it on now it'll go through the start up (android screen is on for a couple minutes) and then the screen will go black but the backlight will stay on. Any other suggestions?

Two hours.... that took way too long. I suspect something went real south. ...

Sounds like a bad phone ... return it for replacement...
You have a one year warranty.

Hell i say return it ASAP and hold out for the Mytouch 1.2 More ram so it will be a faster phone. Also comes with a 8gb card and a 3.5 jack. I can tell ya one thing im going to call up tmobile and complain big time, may even have to cancel contract over it. (then again i love the mytouch :P )
