Root I know this has been asked before, but

I have the EVO and the newest OTA update (Swype, BlockBuster, etc.) and I was wondering: is there a guide on how to root this specific version? Or is it the same as a prior one? Also, if I root, can I keep my Sense as is or do I have to use a ROM? The reason I ask is, I received a battery tip from a friend of mine and I got over 2+ days on a single charge WITH Sense and I've heard that with stock Froyo it will last even longer. Any help you guys could provide would be much appreciated!!!! Even rooting for dummies because I honestly understand very little about this process

once you are rooted, unrevoked comes with a stock rom so that will not change from what you have now. if you go to the rooting section of this forum, there are plenty of people there willing to help you with that process. i used that guide and it went really smoothly.
