I left Apple IOS and came back to Android! (My reasons why)----->>

So to sum up. Apple isn't running roughshod over Android. Android isn't handing Apple it's head on a platter. There is no phone that is superior in every way to another. People's needs and preferences vary from individual to individual, statistical proof is highly unreliable and phone cases look like ice cube trays.

As for GN's impact, I doubt it...GN has not sold all that many. Where does it rank among Verizon's phones?? How many bought the overseas GSM version? I would bet that GS2 has a much bigger impact.

I must have done a foot in mouth, I thought so too - that we are having a friendly chat. I sincerely apologize for any bad feelings that I didn't intend on anything that I said. None of us have been doing a tip top job quoting in our replies (certainly applies to me, at any rate) and with you generally having the lone minority opinion here answering to so many, maybe responses, intents and tone of voice has gotten blurred. Not excusing myself, just offering clarity on my sincerity.

I'd be tempted to agree with you on the Nexus numbers based on the fact that the last two Nexii sold under 2 million total. Plus, the commitments required to carry the Apple products are high. But I am going to stick to my mantra that we don't have data yet. I look forward to that data, as I so often do. :p

i aint one for Armageddon predictions... but....
today... i saw in the news.. just the title .. 100 tornadoes in 10 states in the last few days.. does that sound like end of world prediction starting?
 
Don't most people have an iPod Touch? Thats an iPhone without the calling feature. I have one, as well as an iPad 2 and a Galaxy S2. There are things I like better about iOS but certain things I prefer in Android. Why choose? I have the best of both :D
 
Yeah I have one and I think jobs locked it up on me. When I plug it in my computer it says unknown device. Never get this with my android. grumble grumble/.
