Root I need help ASAP

Hi, I bought a used rooted htc 4g evo desing from boost mobile.I tranfer my acount to this cellphone and it looks like everything went find. But it didn't .... The phone says is activated, boostmobile on top and phone # in phone info.. I called boost and they did ths proces ##......# and other things. But phone don't make calls or anything it acts like is nt activated. It keeps giving me errors when updating software or profile or updating anything boost tells me. I really need a phone my old one broke that's why I gt ths one n now I'm stock w no cell. Please some one.. Is rooted but it has stock evything I had spent hours trying n nothing works. Please please.

i moved you to evo design root forums, hopefully someone here can help. not to sure about boost.
 
That sounds odd.do you have cwm recovery installed? If so try to flash a ROM.maybe who ever owned it deleted something on accident that is needed.
 
I'm nt to familiar with all ths. But wen I press vol down n power... It comes to a white screen and it starts reading I guess the sd card n it says some bout image nt valid bla bla then I pres recovery and takes me to black screen n there saids 2fs kingdom cwm recovery v5.0.2.8 that's all I know that it says something bout cwm..
 
Now all ths won't affect anything... Like I'm saying it will look normal n phone act normal.? Now how do I do thid flash... I download the zip put on the root of sd card and then?

Correct. To install it, boot into recovery and choose to install .zip from sdcard, look for the ROM and choose it. You might have to wipe data and cache before flash.
 
Just do what is said above^, and keep in mind it will wipe all of your data. Also, remember that being rooted and having a custom ROM will most likely void your warranty, and calling them for tech support on most things will not help. Just post in the forum for xFuZiionZz if you need help with something related to the specific features in it, or make a thread like you did here for general help.

Ugh ... That did nt work. Ths what I did... I wipe data, cache, dalvick etc...etc. I installed zip n it went thru. Service still nt working. I try update profile nothing I try upd prl nothing. I try ##....# nothing. it shows like I gt signal.... It says boost mobile on top etc n when I try calling dnt let me. It says to make a collect call bla bla. Man o man. Now what

i would call boost again.
 
I would try to help, how ever boosts activation stuff I don't know. How ever if you are getting signal and can call out besides the dumb message you are getting. I would say it is a issue with your account, the phone does have the needed account info or well don't know much more besides that. You should be able to activate the phone though with my rom though not exactly sure either. It is built from the boost stock rom, how ever someone else will have to say if it works or not.
 
ok... here i go.. 5 days having problem with tranfering zte wzrp acound to htc 4g evo desing from boost. try it over phone w. cs from boost mobile.. nothing... try it over internet nothing. they try reseting my cellphone and a bunch of dumb non sence. i switch rom like 3 times different ones.....now wile all this when on phone with boost cs i wrote every single # they used as paswords and code for updates etc. just in case i can try it later on by my self..... i find out does code they were using were information about my cellphone identidy. i read hundreds of forums n compare info to this forum. came to find out wat prl, msid etc where. so i start studing my cellphone n goin tru all ths info... well last nite came to some post about prls.... and sence i was having problems updading my profile or prl etc. i go back 2 cellphone n realise this cellphone was on a 3230 prl wich is a metro pcs prl...lol son of a b**@#$. so i looked for post on boost prl and got the most recent 1.... 61009. downloaded the zip... unzipet and put into root of sd card did a ##775# , ask it me for pasword i entered password from wat i rote down talking with cs n brough me to the window of prl.. updated prl for the 1 on sd card..cellphone rebooted. and ring ring trin trin all cain of noises from voicemail text and emails.. holly cow all it was a dumb prl # in it.. really took me bout 1 min. from the time i put in the new prl. just want 2 say thanks for thoes of u that try 2 help. u guys keep up the work. thanks. now tryng to get contact from old phone whish it has broken screen.
