Root I need help please anyone.

While trying to update my LG Esteem from ZVB to ZBD, my computer went to sleep and ended my update. Now every time I turn on my smart phone I get "Download is in progress. Do not disconnect cable." I tried the LGMobile Support tool and clicked on customer support then recover phone I enter the information and only goes half way. I also tried LGNPST to try and turn it back to ZVB and it wouldnt work. I have an sd card and have another LG Esteem (my mothers). Can someone be kind enough to help me out?

-I tried to put it in recovery mode(hold both volumes and power) and failed as well.
 
Anytime this happens I always see people pull the battery, put it back in, reboot and hook back into the upgrade and it finishes where it left off.
 
So I did what you said and it only went through 40% of the ANALYSIS
"Software update is not supported for this model"

I connected and used it with LGNPST emergancy recovery and it works goes for about 2 secs and crashes. I restarted and still no luck.
 
Do you have a different battery you can use to try with?

If not. If you plug the phone into the wall charger does it start charging at all? If so let it fully charger and then try again.

I would keep trying to run the update and see if catches by chance and finishes. This is strange.
 
you're best bet is to take it to a metro main store, tell them what happen and they might be able to get it to update.

Tried different batteries didn't worked. I plugged to wall and it didn't charge. Tried doing the update and only does it half way in analysis.

Unless someone has any other ideas you might just have to take it to the store.
