I need Help Please!

After a long drawn out episode with customer service I am ready to use my phone LG Optimus V until, I was in latitude and it froze forever so the power wouldn't even work. So I just took the battery out as I had a million times before with no issues. so now what? does anyone know whereas they can help this stressed chica out?
Thanks:eek:

I guess we're a little confused. You pulled the battery because it froze... what's it doing now?? Is the phone usable but Latitude is still freezing?? Is that the only problem your having is with latitude?? Just trying to get more info. ;)

Sorry, never used something like this before THEREFORE im sad to say a rookie.. anywho, when I posted I did not think or realize I am confused to but after searching some more I think Its in a recovery loop? still unsure.
I just got a manufacturer replacement this weekend and I had to pretty much build it up to where I had my original one. I came across this go widget(?) where it organizes your apps n such and gives way more space on phone, right?! But, more than normal then from my last phone it kept freezing. i was thinking awe this awesome app is going to erk me isn't it...lol. So, I have been taking the battery out on these extended freezes and have in past with my old phone with no probs; until I was frozen while latitude was importing my friends and froze for I let sit 5-6 minutes just thinking it was importing on a slow connection. But not anything past 6 min is doing any good so I did what I do normally and that is taking the battery out and in to restart. This time it powered up but it keeps looping or blinking the LG logo along with the keys where they are not insync of lighting. It looks like the battery looks when its charging but its charged and off the charger. EWW... its blinking is annoying me..lol Thank you for taking the time to respond and asking me for more info sorry this got a little long if you knew me I am known as a rambler. :D

Your probably not going to like my advice, but it may be your only option. Hard Reset your phone!
This means you will lose all your apps and personal data, which you will have to set up all over again. I told you,you would not like my advice.

Pull battery then reinstall battery. Hold down home button+volume down button, then power button, all at the same time. Do this until you see the Android recovery screen.
You scroll up/down using the up/down volume buttons. You select an option by pressing the home button. Select the factory reset option.

It sound like you need to install your apps one at a time over the course of a few days to see which app is causing your system to crash. Giving plenty of time in between each install to determine which one is messing up your system. Also some apps don't function properly on the sd card and need to be moved back to the app partition on the phone.

is that with the sd card in? I have been doing this button thing and it seems to make the lg go faster.... I have my whole last phones info on my pc. just have no clue to what i am doing.

how long should you have to hold down? It acts at a point like it will start up but starts looping again:confused:

It's OK to leave your sd card in your phone if you all ready backed up everything onto your PC. If after holding down all three of the buttons(pressing the home+volume down then pressing the power button and holding all three down at the same time) doesn't get you into your Android recovery screen then you need to return the phone. The phone has a 30 day return at most retailers, and a one year warranty from LG.

Don't forget to keep us updated on your progress. If it worked or you returned the phone, we'd still like to know. Why?? Because we're all pulling for ya!! ;)
