Root i need help to root evo

May i get help to root my htc evo phone. I had download unrevoked3 to my pc but and need help to continue the hboot usb on my computer. my phone is already on the screen menu hboot. but i do not know how to have the phone android 1 on my computer

You need to install the hboot drivers on your PC. The current version of unrevoked does not require manually switching to hboot USB. Make sure to read through the Rooting for Dummies guide and follow the instructions.

There are videos on Youtube that will walk you through the process. This helped me tremendously. I could pause the video, complete the step on my PC or phone and then restart the video and complete the next step. 15 minutes and I was rooted.
