Root I need to leave

You'll be missed while you're gone cougar (at least a little ;)).

But like everyone says, take it a little at time and it will all work out in the end. Best of luck to you!

I didn't mean to sound like i'm all torn up over it... I was, but life is on the up and up for me. I think sometimes we don't see the forest for the trees. My wife and I make better friends than spouses, we get along better than we have in years now that we are apart. Luckily in NY we now have no fault divorce, and we could agree on what was fair without fighting it out in court.

There are still moments when i'm upset, more for the fact that I failed in marriage than that I miss her. It's amazing how unhappy we were, though, and still going on.

Anyway, enough about me. Op, know that in the end it will be better, and that everything happens for a reason. You are in the majority these days, sad as it may be. Keep doing what you're doing, it'll work out ;)

Right there with you bro, same thing happened to me.

But alas I found a new woman, and am happily re-married. Time does tend to heal wounds but you need people around you for support. Definitely don't do it alone like I did. It was a bad time and one of the lowest points of my life.

Sorry to hear that man. Yeah it was definitely a crappy time. I did not miss her specifically but was upset that I had failed. Also going from a nice big house to a crappy apartment was a wake up call. I was all happy after the divorce proceedings but after the reality of it all hit me, it was super tough.

i wanted my wife back, it was only a month or so after i found out the real truth that she was hiding from me, that was my wake up call

Glad to hear it. Take time for yourself outside of sports and stuff. Keeping busy is good and everything, but also take time to talk it out with close friends and relatives man.

My offer will always stand brother.

Cheers.

thanks trooper, i will probably hit you up on gtalk sometime this weekend, its always good to have someone to talk to

Take your time. Examine your relationship when you are more clear headed. Think of the things that worked and the things that didn't. Make sure the person you want to be with will accept you for who you are. You shouldn't have to compromise that ever.

o believe me i have quit talking to girls because they reminded me too much of her in the terms of how they wanted me to be, and how i should be around my own friends.. yeah no thnx

Been there done that buddy. Took me a marriage and a couple of bad bad relationships to realize there are great girls out there who actually appreciate you and the way you are.

Good luck Cougar, can't say i've had to deal with a wife/divorce yet, but knowing how much of a pain a break up can be i can imagine. Hope if goes as smoothly as possible and see you back soon.

If she's worth it, try and gain root access. Then you might be able to do something with her.

On a serious note, ask God to help yall put your relationship back together.
