Root I NEED to unroot

I have a tried the instructions on the sticky above. I cannot get my evo 4g to unroot. I want to make it a standard Evo 4g with no kernal or root. Please help me.

just out of curiosity why do you want to unroot? what part do you need help with?

I have followed all 10 steps in the Recover "unroot" guide at the top of this section. It looks like it works, but it doesn't.

My screen is flickering on and off. It is still under warranty. I want sprint to replace, but they won't unless it is stock. Thus I must unroot. Help me wise men of the Evo.

ok so are you naming the PC36IMG correctly? it needs to be renamed to PC36IMG do not add any .zip to the name as windows hides extensions. and also it needs to be on the top level of the sd card, no folders.
