Root i think i screwed up my ally

Just saw this and maybe you already got help but this is what i got for you

1. Try downloading the "LG Mobile Updater" and update to 2.2 like that and you should be fine (assuming you are on 2.1 based on that you went to V8) try this first!

2. You can use the 2.2 root guide posted by trident to just downgrade to v6 then do the ota updates to 2.2 and youll be stock.

3. If none of the above work you can search LGNPST alternate guide to restore to v6 posted by death2all this seems to work more than the LG Mobile Updated but had additional risks.

Now thats just about every possible way i could think for you to get back to stock and in working order.

I think i screwed up. so i wanted to stock it so i followed this guide. Returning Ally to bone stock - LG Ally Forum i flashed the stock v8 but now EVERYTHING is screwed up. what do i need to do now. my market is gone. there is a lot missing. it is not longer rooted.
Well My first question is this: Are you on 2.1 or 2.2.1?
2nd question. Do you have a recovery that you can get into?
to do that have phone off and the press and hold power+send+menu until you see the LG screen. This will boot you into Recovery if you have one.

If you have recovery.... then wipe all user data, wipe only data, wipe only sd/ext, wipe only android secure, wipe only cache, and finally wipe only dalvik cache.
Now with My Nandroid already loaded in the proper place restore it.

Thats going to be the easiest fix with the least amount of steps.
Also the Rooted Froyo Stock Rom was created using Tridents guide.
