I wanna see your tattoos!!!

heres my back tattoo, want to branch out from it and have a whole scene, although not sure how since I did get it a little too big. And yes I know its not even, made a dumb mistake and didn;t research the artist enough but not bad since it was all done free hand.

This one took two sittings, and I don't have a picture of the whole thing after it was finished, but you get the idea:

love the peppermint candy, dunno what it is but bright colorful tattoos are my favorite!

Thanks. That one is in memory of my grandfather. The same artist did most of my tats. I only have one black & gray - a portrait of my cat - on my left shoulder.

I like this one. It's so cute :) Great for showing off when you're on the beach ;) lol

:) I've named her Flo. She loves the beach, but she's also been known to peek her head out at other times too. :D

colorful tattoos are great. i would prefer simple and to the point for myself.. i dont think i could take all the pain....

Depending on where you get them they really don't hurt, they just feel more like a sunburn. There are places that are painful to tattoo, but for the most part they aren't that bad.

When I got my Jack bottle tattooed on my arm it started to hurt after a while, but that is only because there was about 8 layers of color all on top of each other to make the Jack look right. So layers and location play a huge part in whether it hurts or not.

When I got my "Bushido" tattoo the artist started and then promptly informed me that was possibly the most painful place to get a tattoo! Just above the inside right ankle, major nerve runs there, I promptly thanked him for the information...

The day i figure out exactly what I want i definitely will! :D

My first one I had no idea what I wanted, I just picked off the pictures off the wall , still love it though. After that I always knew what I wanted before I got it, just told the artist my idea and let them do their thing. I always give the artist a lot of freedom and I think it turns out better that way!

That's pretty much what happened with the one on my hip (the heart with devil horns and angel wings). He drew the first line and said "Yeah, I get mixed reviews about this area of the body." Great...thanks for letting me know NOW! As it turns out, it was probably the second most painful one during the tattoo process (second only to my ankle) and THE most painful one during the healing process (took 4 weeks and was swollen for 2 weeks).

True story. Every tattoo I've gotten where I just give him an idea and let him do his thing turns out WAY better than I picture it in my head.

I have the usual Dagger and flowers, an eagle with my name in a scroll, a large snake I rather like a lot. But this is my beloved Black Reider from Back Street Heroes fame (biking magazine).

I almost got a marijuana plant, back in the day, on my shoulder but changed my mind at the last minute. I have none!

I searched and wasn't able to find another so I figured I'd start one.

I love tattoos. I love showing mine off and see other people's, so lets go!! I wanna see your massively painful and expensive ink & needle artwork =D

This is my favorite piece. You can't really tell in the pic but it goes down to my upper thigh.

For any of you tattoo enthusiasts who will be in or around the Austin, TX area this weekend, the 10th annual Star of Texas Tattoo Art Revival will be going on this weekend. I'm going to try and make it at least one of the days. It's always fun to go check out the ink/art and chat with other tattoo junkies.
