I want to learn how to develop themes for attain 4g but i don't know how to or even to start anyone could teach me how to develop ?

The easiest noob way to learn is to start with a "kitchen" I think it's called the uot kitchen and work from there as you learn more.

Uot kitchen is it. Used it for my rom. But its almost pointless without cwm unless u use adb. After u get good with the uot then u should find all your icons and what not to replace and the program 7zip will be your best friend

Ok u said it will impossible to load a uot theme onto this phone but how come u cant just use your framework and what not go throu uot and theme it theme just put it with your admire one or does it have to go through uot or how come u cant use odin, im just asking cuz it came to mind

Its extra steps with Odin and so forth. Adb would be the most simple method oppose to cwm

How do i get adb from uot? because i just noticed theres no way of me puting my theme from uot cause the attain 4g doesn't have cm7 yet :/Uot kitchen is it. Used it for my rom. uot kitchen deodex put some build.prop tweaks change .pngs and upload and hope people like it and force ask for the donations

You dont have to have cm7. i did mine from testing out different ways and only can up with one stagy for now until we get a working cwm or recovery

no where did you hear that from, i said there are different ways to put themes on your phone, our phones doesn't even have a recovery to even think about cm7

If we had cm7 these forums would be doing numbers, cause cm7 opens up things like, MIUI, JoyOS, Lee's Os and so forth. Once we get a recovery this phone is going to take a huge leap for mankind lol.

Wow, i never even heard of some of those roms b4, im going to youtube them.
The Day we get a recovery will be like a holiday to me, also Genovdot how is that ( Tar Ball ) coming along ?

you guys are hyping recovery up way too much.
first and formost all of those roms are possible by odin. second, all those otehr roms are just copies of cyanogenmod, you use the cm stuff to build it and it just basically rethemes it... thats all miui and the like are.. the only one that is actually different are roms like aokp/TSM where they started from aosp and worked their way up.

Shabby, can you give me some direction, I would like to learn how to create a tarball that can be flashed with odin. I made an update zip file and used linux to convert to .tar but odin wouldnt flash. Maybe you could just point me somewhere that can help, I dont mind reading.

when dealing with odin tars throw out teh concept of .zips
you need to use the same format as the pre-rooted

So for this phone would be the factory.rfs, so make changes to phone, then create image then tar?

Was wanting to make changes to my phone and then extract .rfs so that the image will be exactly what I have on my phone. If you could help me with commands would appreciate it.
