I will never buy another Android device that isn't a nexus!

I agree. All my devices have been stock android. I've never owned anything with a touch whiz or some kind of gui overlay.

I actually enjoyed Sense when I had an Inspire 4G. Even after I rooted and flashed custom roms, I always looked for the Sense-based roms. After a while I decided to try a vanilla-based rom and I couldn't go back to Sense.

Now I have my N4 and I don't even need to root/flash it. I'm happy with stock. Some custom UI have interesting features like multiwindows on Touchwiz, but the pure Android experience on Vanilla is just great.

Same here. Even though I had a piece of crap Motorola Triumph before this, the stock JB Android rom is just awesome. It's so fast and smooth and just friggin amazing. Also my battery seems to last like 4 times as much as Triumph's did. lol. I get a whole day use of it and it rarely ever drops below 50%.

I read it'll be cheaper than the nexus 4, if so I'm scooping that up too

I hope Moto use's different screen technology then what they've been using lately. I am just not a fan of the Razr line screens...Paring my dads Razr Maxx HD screen next to my n4 screen is just scary. Whites have a way warmer yellowish tint on the Maxx. And the n4's screen is just a lot more crisp and pleasant to my eyes.

There is a big difference. The spare battery can be stored in a bag or somewhere. When your phone runs out of juice, you SWAP the batteries. Your phone remains the same weight and shape. If can also charge the battery you just swapped out and continue to use your phone. And spare battery are dirt cheap.

With the battery pack, when your phone is out of juice you have to ATTACH the battery pack, which makes your phone bulkier and heavier. Battery packs more so much more expensive, one battery pack can cost as much as 20 batteries.
I have never heard of battery pack that costs 20x the cost of a battery. With an external pack, you're not limited to one phone. Your external pack will last you longer than the life of your phone, on to the next phone, and the next one. Not mention you can charge other things like your tablet. With spare batteries, you have to keep buying new ones with each new phone/device you get. So overall, you may end up saving money in the long run with an external pack. An external pack can also charge your phone while you're not using it, meaning your battery won't run out in the first place.
