I agree. All my devices have been stock android. I've never owned anything with a touch whiz or some kind of gui overlay.
I'm starting to get interested in the X Phone. If it's a good design and stock I might switch.
I read it'll be cheaper than the nexus 4, if so I'm scooping that up too
I have never heard of battery pack that costs 20x the cost of a battery. With an external pack, you're not limited to one phone. Your external pack will last you longer than the life of your phone, on to the next phone, and the next one. Not mention you can charge other things like your tablet. With spare batteries, you have to keep buying new ones with each new phone/device you get. So overall, you may end up saving money in the long run with an external pack. An external pack can also charge your phone while you're not using it, meaning your battery won't run out in the first place. There is a big difference. The spare battery can be stored in a bag or somewhere. When your phone runs out of juice, you SWAP the batteries. Your phone remains the same weight and shape. If can also charge the battery you just swapped out and continue to use your phone. And spare battery are dirt cheap.
With the battery pack, when your phone is out of juice you have to ATTACH the battery pack, which makes your phone bulkier and heavier. Battery packs more so much more expensive, one battery pack can cost as much as 20 batteries.
