where did you find out
I've Tweeted them to try and find out. If its in stores then testing has finished, and if testing has finished there's no reason it can't be deployed properly

we haven't released it yet for the Portal, so I wouldn't think T-Mobile stores could offer that. Will try to get an update tomorrow
Very smooth. No problems.@Beerkan
Apparently you have installed the JD4 version, not JD1. But it seems to be built on JD1. How is it?
I'm fed up with all this waiting for something where never going to get unless I use odin
got Android 2.1 update from Samsung service center in Mumbai finally... yeah.. just try this trick.. tell the service center guys that blue-tooth is not working,.. they will tell u that it is a software problem and need software update.. the update that they installed is actually Android 2.1 ...... awesome..
i dont no why but my nps 1.5 is taking longer to search for the update
I think because it's actually checking. 1.3/4 simply goes straight to server error for me.i dont no why but my nps 1.5 is taking longer to search for the update
Me too. Much Longer. Also a program called TODO which is part of the NPS installation requested internet access during the process - this never happened before. Just ends up with can't connect to server message so far I have tried 4 times and haven't had the usual "No upgrade necessary" message.
Maybe something is happening - or maybe we are clutching at straws....

Back to normal today - quickly goes to "No update necessary". Excitement over.
I have decided to go down the Odin route next week if no positive news in the meantime.
