i gave up on 2.2

way too many issues for me. no mms, cant check voicemail from stat bar (metro), apps2sd blows, cant use setcpu, and random uim errors caused by certain apps, most notably metamorph.

I don't think our phones are capable of multi touch. It is a hardware issue not software

use the cwm 2.5.1.8 version. it works fine for me.

apn setting are in "settings"/"networks and wireless"/"mobile networks"/"access point names" press menu button and select "new apn"

Okay, so I am going to flash back to 2.5.1.8. When doing this I see everybody recommending (or telling) people to format sd card, with the suggestion of copying to computer.

If I copy sd to computer then format, then flash cwm 2.5.1.8, can I recopy the sd stuff I moved to computer back to the sd and it all work, or should I remember which apps on sd and reload from Market?

ive used cwm 3.0.0.5 and it works. go on youtube. theres a tutorial on it. no uim errors anymore

just use titanium backup to backup your apps. reinstall titanium backup from market and copy your titanium backup folder to pc. after flash put it back on sd, open titbu and reinstall user apps.
