Hey Guys... after watching several videos online .. i updated Android Sdk and tried ICS on emulator..
Its full of lots of feature .... its mouthwatering

So cant wait it to taste it...

Request To SuRoot ...after ur successful dGB...please ..let us have dICS..

cant wait...what u think guys

This, unfortunately, is dependent on Google releasing the source code to ICS. It'll probably be a while yet before that happens...

The android Software development kit (SDK) has an emulator built in so you can test your apps etc.

As soon as the code is available, I will be on it, but i wont be able to do it alone. There are going to be driver issues etc. May need to wait for an N1 release.

dICS lol. i dont think that sounds right

If you do bring out a dICS, I'm going to do a mod and call it "Spotted dICS", just to keep the dessert theme going.

That would be good.

As my development days are still very much in their infancy, I don't know what I will be doing yet. I would definitely like to have an ICS ROM and I would also like it to be one of the first (will be wide spread then).

I guess with my mantra of no SD ext, a Diminutive is innevitable, but I will need to see what I will be missing out on first, with full fat.

It might need to be more of a wafer thin mint to fit on the Desire.

I've only read one quick overview, but a lot of the changes it discussed were stuff in contacts - which would be difficult to leave out, I guess - and in how the home screen works - which is what many people change anyway. Oh and the gallery has had some much needed work. Again though that could be left out again.

It's tempting to have a look at the ROM code, but time is a bit short at the moment as I've got two home projects (both computer related and one programming) on the go, as well as work, and general home stuff. Luckily it's winter soon so evenings will have fewer distractions.

I stumbled upon a system dump from the Nexus Prime (Android 4.0) on the net earlier. Don't know if any of the apps will be useable though.
For those interested here is whats in the dump. Long list
