Root Icons disappear after pressing HOME button

Motorola Droid 2.2 Froyo rooted Bugless Beast 0.5

Randomly (Maybe 2/5) when I press home from the browser, an application, ending a call, etc. All of my icons will disappear for 4-5 seconds.

Please tell me if you know of a fix or anything about this problem, I've seen other topics about this but no solutions that worked.

Thanks.

Normal launcher. I tried DXtop or whatever, I didn't like it, haven't tried any others.

So it looks like this isn't fixable =/? Since rooting, it's the only bug on my Droid I have left.

DXTop is ancient. Try launcher pro. If it still lags, in advanced settings select "cache home screen" and "build caches as needed". If you run a lot of widgets, then set advanced memory settings to high.

Are you overclocking at all?

Wasn't Froyo supposed to make our phones over 9000 times faster or something? I'm loving my screen redraws and painful lag, guys. Just saying, this never felt like an issue with Eclair. Either I'm getting spoiled or Froyo was not very well-polished.
