ICS .242 leak is out for Bionic

Yeah I get what you're saying, the extra speed isn't totally a big deal and would just be a nice bonus. But like I said I was one of the unlucky ones who never got 1.2ghz on any of the leaks I flashed and I felt left out lol. Everything has been working fine with the Tweakerz overclock, only thing is that it'll reset if you reboot or shut the phone off (maybe they've figured out a way to script it to run at boot, but when I first installed it they hadn't figured it out). Since it doesn't resume after reboot, most days I forget to go turn the speed back up. But when I do remember, I'll kick it up to 1.3ghz and use it for a while. And I've confirmed through SetCPU and Quadrant benchmarks that it is actually overclocking, and not just showing some fake increased number on the screen. I haven't really followed up with the project since the day I flashed it so I don't know if they've made any improvements to it. It works though.

Also it's probably due to ICS itself but my phone can now OC higher than before. On GB I had one of the phones that would crash if I bumped it up just a little too high. Also probably why my phone is one of the ones that wouldn't set itself to 1.2 with the ICS roms.

Does 242 enable the official GSM services like on the Razr? There should be settings to set CDMA, GSM or Global mode. Anyone see those?

No, the ability to select network type is grayed out on Bionic as it was never originally intended to be on any network other than Verizon.

Thanks. Actually I think Motorola intended it to be GSM capable based on notes in the build.prop but YES Verizon may have never intended it. That's really a shame for all the Bionic folks when ICS hits officially.

Ah the Beauty of .904 I'll never lose GSM; of course I'll never have a very good LTE connection either.

Is anyone running a leak greater than .232 logging any changes they notice with the car and desktop dock? I'm curious to see if they are trying to make changes as they are approaching the actual release build.
