Root ICS AOSP or Default Lockscreen zip?

does anybody have the aosp or original ics type lock screen with the transparent type circle to add onto the #2 2.5 rom? thanks.

It depends actually on what you currently have. The lock screen is located in res-cappuccino.apk

If you are using the stock lock then you can just push the res cap. If not, then you will have to pull the android.policy.jar as well and push it.
 
Res-cap. Is this the lock you were talking about? Its the only Ics'ish lock screen we got that we can use.

Ick

You can just take the res cap and push it to your phone but some other small things might change like the icons in the pull down menu at the top.

Or you can manually take the images out and put them in your current theme

Let me wake this thread up a bit...

I've been using Holo Locker for some time now, and I love it (especially the new one that's customizable) - BUT...
Often, when I turn my screen on to use the phone, the stock AOSP lock screen pops up, and before I can touch it, it disappears in less than a second, and the screen goes black. I hit the power button again, and there's Holo Locker.

This is annoying as all hell. What can be done to bake this thing into the ROM in place of AOSP lock screen?
Anything? Or am I just whizzing up a rope with hope?

No paid apps are allowed in custom roms, cause that would cause the devs to loose money cause everyone would have it for free. But if you have the free or paid version, you can use root explorer or other file manager and move it to /system/app/ and reboot the phone and it will be part of the phone system app.

You're absolutely right! I didn't think of that! lol I was sooo hung up on what the dev said - "Holo locker is not a theme for Go Locker or others, it is the real Jelly Bean lock screen app."

But that still wouldn't stop the stock lock screen from popping up... would it?

I was hoping to replace the GB stock with a JB lock screen altogether
 
Make a backup or have commander installed, than see what happens if you delete the android.policy.jar from /system/framework/ thats where the stock lockscreen is located. i'm about to test it myself also.

Edit: Dont pull android.policy.jar, Phone never boots.
