something bad happened... tried to wipe sd card from this. after installing monsters gapps and rebooting a couple of times... I tried to wipe the sd card from within ics. seemed unresponsive, so i tried to reboot to recovery. now phone is dead. pulled battery, tried different buttons. plugged in/out... no response.

Back to Best Buy for my replacement! Bought the Insurance. Will be back tomorrow... just wanted to let you know.

If you don't need to return the old one, perhaps there is a dev that could use one.....

If I can I will let you know. This will be my 4th Marquee... sacrificed the others testing stuff here. I always get the insurance, and I just hope the info helps... sorry I couldn't be more detailed.

Did you try taking out the battery, holding the power for 10 seconds, putting the battery back in, plugging in the charger and turning it back on?

I have tried everything I've have ever read around here.

I just hope I don't have to through root hell again. I can't even remember how I did it last time, but I think i have seen a few guides around here...:)

Thanks for pointing out the typo guys. Fixed that and tada, Play Store works. Guess it makes sense that if it can't find a directory it would error out. By the way, where are the alpha1b links at TDM?

can i ask where this typo is? i am still getting the constant force closes for the play store

alrite this is a noob ? to install ics for the marquee (boost) do i need to install alpha1.zip first then alpha1a.zip thanks in advance for the help u guys and special thanks for the devs who made this possible

Just use alpha1b, let me know if play store works.

In the boot.img. It's fixed in alpha1b, same folder as alpha1a.

I just installed alpha1b and then installed the file monster posted "Gapps-RSKYLINE.zip" when launching play store it crashes. Alpha1b was my first install coming from CTmod.

Any suggestions? I also see many of my apps still in this rom from the previous rom but play was missing

did the same thing as crazy and all my apps are there and all my apps force close

I wiped data, cleared cache/dalvik cache then flashed alpha 1b followed by monsters zip for boost, everything working great on my end. No FCs for me and the only problems I've run into so far are the ones already mentioned with the camera.

Edit: I receive FC when trying to send mms not sure if this is an issue that was covered

Nice work tdm!
EDIT
I figured out the problem. The wifi MAC address changed on my phone. I think the stock rom and CTmod had the same mac address, for whatever reason it changes with CM9. I had a mac filter enabled on my router. That was a fun 2hour exercise.........

I can't seem to get wifi working with alpha1b. My router shows no attempts from the phone. I've tried to disable wifi security on my router and that didn't help either. I did have wifi when I first installed the rom but that's when I didn't do a full wipe before installing alpha1b.
I also noticed in the wifi config, if you go for static instead of DHCP once you start filling in the spots with info, the 'connect' button is grayed out.

Thank you so much tdm! I flashed this yesterday and have not had this much fun with my phone since I got my HTC Hero brand new!

The smoothness and stability of this build is astounding for it being an alpha. You should put a donate button in your signature for those who are interested.

Thanks for making this phone super fun again!

So I flashed alpha1b and I still got the baseband error, how can I fix this? Everything else seemed fine though aside from the already stated issues. Great job. Smooth as butter.
