I have modified your built rom and it boots fine and all features work that you said should work. I substitute my boot.img with yours and still won't boot.

I was using a debian 6.0 chroot.

I have successfully built ics on debian 6.0, ubuntu 10.04, and ubuntu 12.04. I think I'm using Sun Java 6 on all of those systems.
 
I'll have another test build in a couple hours.

Audio is fixed.

Tried to fix GPS but it's not working.

Google Talk is FC'ing due to missing class android.media.effect.EffectFactory. This is annoying, need to investigate.

Noticed lots of kernel stack traces from CONFIG_ZCACHE, so I'm going to disable that and recompile.

Will start looking at 3G now.

Installing now. Android is upgrading....... so far so good.



Update. So far the only things that has FCed are email and sms. I know you said sms wasn't working but I don't think I saw anything about email.


Looks good tdm. Wifi along with calls are working nicely. Nice job.


Update, man.... this is nice and smooth.

SMS is working for me both send and receive. 3G is not working. Maybe check the build.prop to make sure it's correct? I'm on VM but I tried to set the values correctly.

anyone know why I can't get play store apk to run on phone? installed a few different versions; app will launch then suddenly stop. no error message, just returns to previous menu.
do i need to install the latest version to run on ICS?




nevermind.... went to slideme for now. read on some tablet forum play store was messing up on 4.04 ics
 
I'm not sure what's going on with linux mint and I gotta go soon.

I'm using this tonight, and if I can get 3G working soon it's my daily driver. :D

I think the cameras are the next major target after 3G.

I did the toggle dance from kravens cm9 on optimus s (airplane mode then restart airplane on off toggle data) 3g popped up for a minute then disappeared but was able to start loading a page. however it did only only load once. had to reflash to get it do it again.

AWESOME work!!!

Youtube video has strange green lines and doesn't seem to respond to rotation, but it's viewable.
 
Ok, fixed the email and sms FC's. I had to do another install but they are not FCing anymore. Only problem I can see are the ones that have already been mentioned. I'm impressed Tdm, you've put a lot of hard work in this and it shows. This is very nice. :)

This is probably already known, but when waking the screen it has a flicker to it. Turning it off looks smooth though.

Running w/ CPU @ 1000mHz is a litttle sluggish, but upping it to 1300mHz makes it snappy!

This cm9 is tits! 3g and playstore will make it TITTIES!!!

tdm this is just awesome! YouTube works great in both regular playback as well as HQ, SMS, Pandora, gmail setup was fast and painless, setting lock screen shortcuts works great as well, haven't checked Netflix yet.

Only thing iv noticed is no vibrate of any sort works. sorry if that's already been brought up.

really looking forward to what you can make of this rom.

also with sound on key press iv noticed a lag while typing turned it off and its gone.

Yeah got the brief 3G here too, but couldn't load anything. So tantalizing.... :p
