ICS comming soon to LG phones

Yeah, just like the update for MetroPCS's LG Optimus M that never came.

Maybe for other phone carriers, but seeing as how they did one OTA update, *maybe* it's possible.
 
I used my Optimus for more than one year waiting for GB and never came, now with the Esteem will be the same. I don't trust LG's facebook comments at all.
 
LG's announcements about OS updates are for the paid carrier variants, not prepaids. But if the revo gets ICS it can be ported over to the esteem or used for CM development ;)
 
Well I knew our phone will not get it but what got my interest is that they say they will make a list of compatible devices. In hope the rev gets it and gets ported over. If it's next month then I have higher of of having ICS, before it melts....lol, I have no hopes of Metro bringing it to us at all.

If Metro adn LG ever do drop it for the esteem It will be around the time Jelly Bean drops. Ahaha

If they say the Rev isnt compatible which also means the Esteem probably wouldnt be that can be proven wrong just like Issac, PG and BobZ did with Gingerbread on the Ascend.
 
i can say one thing in comparison to the REV, we had 2.3 when verizon had 2.2, so we won on the round, lol

My father is on Verizon and he asked me for a good phone to get. He wanted something cheap. My sister which still lives with him. Kept bugging him for an iphone. I told him that the iPhone was crap and he ended up getting the 2 revs, he got one for free and the other cost him 50$
