Root ICS is here!

Also make sure your phone's volume is on vibrate not silent.

Yeah it's definetly on, I also scanned through all the settings aswell. But no luck

And I also now noticed the lights on the touch keys on my DHD don't light up ( when I go on auto brigthness and back to my brightness settings the keys light up but I have to do this evertime I unlock my phone...)

just found over on xda that the issue with the camera is much better if you take pictures in landscape mode rather than portrate mode, its not a fix by any means but it is much much better,

just thought id share

Can I boot this rom using Bootmanager?

Pep
I had an earler version running from Boot Manager, but have since moved it to the phone. There have been a few updates since then, including versions which automatically format the cache and Dalvok cache. Whether this makes a difference or not, I don't know. If it doesn't then at least you know it works from Boot Manager.

Have any of you got adobe flash 11 working on ice cold sandwich?
Also 1.4 now automaticly turns up the volume to max whenever I switch to next song .....

I've come across a problem, which probably just requires a fresh install, but worth noting here. Many of the paid apps I have installed have reported that they are not licenced (even after running market doctor in TB), thus requiring me to uninstall and reinstall them as and when I come across them and apart from around 6 apps on the first installation, no apps, including all the freebies, are showing as having an update available. Normally there are one or two each day that have updates available, but for about five days now, nothing at all.

What's the DPI on the ROM? I know when I ran the BlackIce ROM, the DPI was different to the DHD standard and it caused the market to think several apps weren't compatible with my device. As a consequence, apps wouldn't install/update. I think CDPlant had the same issue.

Not sure if that would cause the license problems though.

Thanks, but how do you check that?

It looks as though this will let you know what it is too. I think the standard is 240. I know on BlackIce, Lord's profile was 200 or 190 so it might be similar on ICS.

Edit - Just saw your new post :p

Have other folk reported it in the thread?

I restored all my apps from TB on version 1.2, and have been installing applications from the android market normally since 1.2 ( I'm on 1.4 now)

Not sure if that helps.

Of all the 100's of threads I've read nobody else has reported it. I'll wait until another incremental realease and install fresh and see how it pans out. Just hoping that I won't cause the problem again by backing up in TB.

Standard is 240 from memory. Gimme a couple of mins to install the app and I'll let you know.
It's ok, you weren't meant to see my last edit where I asked you a question you'd already answered .

Just tried it, set it to 240 and updates now work :D.

You really are a veritable source of Android knowledge! Thanks :-).

Hehe, thanks :D. Glad you're sorted.

And stop sneaking in posts before I have a chance to respond :p

On Ice cold sandwhich I got a few problems if anyone could help me solve them I would really appreciate it :D

- Firstly my phone doesn't vibrate when I receive SMS Messages ( But does when receiving messages from What's app chat)
- Secondly, everytime I change to next song the music volume goes to max, which allows everyone in my school class/ library hear it ....
- Thirdly, the buttons (home, menu, back, search) do not light up
- Fourthly, the viber application doesn't work
- Fifthly, ( probably not a rom issue since I had this since stock till now) My headphones get wrongly identified as headset which makes the device think I'm pressing buttons thus randomly skipping songs, (tried downloading headset blocker; no luck)
- Sixthly, Adobe flash player 11 doesn't work properly, since some websites don't let me view videos on it properly.
-Seventhly ( Is that how you write that xD?), ( more of a question) any way to get the screen turning off effect like on CM7 ( screen turns off like a old TV)?

Sorry, for bombarding people with issues, obviously I don't expect help with all of them but it would be really nice if I could clear up 1 or 2 problems.
