I still have the phone and I intend to continue developing on it. It's my new toy
Got stuck in your same bootloop on stock kernel, and at one point i thought it was going to boot but it just shut off. Going to talk to some dev's i know and see if we can get this thing up off the ground. I'm still a total noob but it helps to have high people in high places
. Anyway, I was able to return my phone back to it's previous state, I can't believe you're this close but so far away. You my friend deserve a recommendation. Many thanks go to you for the heart throbbing moments i thought it might load haha

I'm a noob but I was wondering if I could help in anyway?
Pretty much all you can do now is wait my friend for Cyanogenmod. In the meantime Is your phone rooted? Do you have Clockwork Mod recovery installed?
This will help you bide sometime, if you already have this done you can browse the forums for custom Roms made by other users. Some pretty good ones laying around here and they all work exceptional. If you need any help just ask
CM 7.2 is out, but The Transform Ultra has yet again missed the list. How do you guys feel about this? Plenty of other Samsung devices topped the list if that could be of assistance to you.
Can't believe we missed out on another one, If we all work together i'm sure we could get it done though. all the support is mainly in this forum.

Hroak said that he would dev for the Warp if the warp users donated enough money for him to get one. He would also port cm7/cm9.
Is interdpth back yet??? I doubt hroak will be able to port it to the Ultra now that he is doing it for the prevail and will be soon porting for the Warp. He got more Than $30 of donation in 24 hours and more is coming very fast.
We need a dev here Ultra user interdpth is busy at work and he's not able to work with cm7 a lot now, which we all understand.
Ultra users we need someone thats able to bring the glorious cm7 or cm9 to our phone, someone thats able to edit the kernel to get thos damn screen working properly, some that will be here often. We need a dev ultra users, we need a dev.
Anyone have a dev in mind that we can use/get a phone for him????

I saw yesterday that they have a working miui & cm9 rom...we should be able to get that on our TU's...I'd be willing to donate a little $$ (on a tight budget right now) if necessary to get a dev a phone...

We have gotten Odin working in case we make a mess of something and need to re-flash the phone. It looks like we need a kernel for CM7 and ICS so that is hopefully in the works....I am not a kernel guru so I am of little help on this subject. I can make kernels from source and add patches but thats as far as it goes for me right now.
I have Armv7 compiles of CM7 and ICS compatible with the processor in the Ultra. These are ota packages and should flash and boot fine with a working kernel. After we get a good booting OS, thats when the fun begins. Getting everything working is difficult and takes persistence. We will need all the help we can get when It gets to this point.

just an idea... can we start a fund to buy a TU and maybe a little exra for a dev who can get cm7 or 9 working? TUS are going for about 150 on eBay. shouldn't be to hard to raise the cash if everyone chips in. I wouldn't know know the name of any devs to ask but there has to be someone out there who'd be willing

I personally am not interested in receiving donations. I have a Boost Mobile Transform Ultra and penguinrepair has a Sprint Transform Ultra and we are preceding with development. If you guys want to donate an Ultra to some other dev to help in development then go for it. We can use all the help we can get.

He has not really said anything about this but I have an idea that it's a symlink problem. Edify scripting is broken pretty bad in CWM Ultra so I'm having trouble getting my zip to flash properly with correct symlinks. I have no real logcat access so debugging the problem is a hassle. It's not really a hard problem and we will get a good boot of CM7 and ICS sooner or later.

Ask dev hroak for some hints/tips he just got the warp today and hes already at work, he says he's releasing a alpha rom for cm7 tonight and he like literally just started updating his sources like 2 days ago, the guy is good. Go talk to him if you still need help, he even fixed a couple problems for the Warp cwm before he even had the phone.
Lol wish we had snagged him before Warp users did ahha but atleast we got odin working with hes help.
bads3ctor and hroark13 do talk and share info together and both have tremendously helped out our tu community...... Thanks to the both of you!

*Also i don't know if anyone else has tried this, but it will sure hold us over for now if you haven't go to the Play store. Download ADW Launcher or ADW Launcher EX, and then follow instructions, Then download ADW theme Antique Cyanogenmod "don't let the name fool you" then follow instuctions, enjoy
