Root [ICS][ROM] The CeltICS Flashable ROM

Its not easy to mod lockscreen.no guide so far available.n u need to mod multiple files for that.if my thoughts r correct u need to modify framework-res.apk, mtkbase-res.apk, framework.jar n don't know which more...I may be totally wrong but will update u soon...share ur thoughts regarding this.I will experiment with modding lockscreen only for couple of days n let u know if something develops.but I m not good with java as I m not an engineer or soft techy..though will try my best to get u that lockscreen.
N u can study framework of rom by sagar or anarchy by me to get similar lockscreen but I think u want lockscreen with just one lock button in the middle,right?

Oops sorry. I meant the Rom by sagarwep. No other way out yaar.

If we go by mastermind's words....it would take atleast 1 week for a fully functional ICS lockscreen for you to makr it from scratch.

So....acc. to me.....as he said, I think you can go for sagarwep's ROM lockscreen or mastermind's Anarchy Rom or even Varun's ICS theme lockscreen :D

and Amarghy, bro I can create a lock screen and most probably any application within an hour which uses ORIGINAL UNMODIFIED Gingerbread... but MTK.... OMG.... they don't seem to have a word ORIGINAL in their dictionaries... they've even added the god-darn "gemini" word to every single PNG image file name... now that's what I call MODIFICATION....!!

So, here's my plan now. As we know, we can't get a SINGLE circle style lock in between. So what I am gonna do is, make this Gingerbread lockscreen look like an ICS one... just the thing would be, it would be two rings... one for lock and other for the sound...

it would look cool i know that... anyone interested to help me overnight?? :D ;) also do tell me, how's my plan??

Pretty Soon... Hopefully tomorrow... If not at 4:00pm, then maybe at 7:00.. but somehow tomorrow if someone agrees to help with lockscreen tomorrow or tonight... :)

@aayush Lol.....Mtk at its best!! :p

btw I didn't like the idea of widget locker cuz I thing make the ui a bit heavy ....we want a smooth interface after all.....plus, with A75's low RAM....that can be a big problem :)

Also.....your idea is awesome!!! You can change the style of the original GB lockscreen. Make it as ICSy as possible :p

Ics style of dragging it looks and feels cooler.


Secret: The developer of Hololauncher is gonna include a ICS lockscreen to his launcher (inbuilt) in the future. So cool right. Complete Ics :p lol

Bro, can't help the Full Sliding Function of Gingerbread. As it's not an ICS original lock screen so we would have to live with it for some days, until your unconfirmed reports of ICS lock being included in Holo is going true...

Rest, anyone up for help today or tomorrow? Anyone, who is completely FREE (vella person :D) today night or tomorrow and wants the ROM to release on time???
 
@aayush sorry yaar. I have an exam tomorow morning + Seminar presentation on saturday.

I have been using A75v3@ADprogrammer rom, its amazing and fast as well. Great work.

Regarding lock screen, I suggest u to go for sagarwep's ROM lockscreen
Also in the rom of sagarwep, under the settings menu, there is an extra option, where we can have different lock screens.
All those lock screen are cool.
I request you to keep this feature if its possible.

I have used all the Roms available in this Forum..I have noticed that FM Radio does not work on most of these roms.. I am not sure if this is rom related. But please do look into this

Its a cool plan what i suggest you is you can keep a backup of the work what you did till now and as you said you will be busy after 1st july so you can do one thing you can release the ROM tomorrow with either your modded lockscreen or sagarweps lockscreen and whenever you get time you can work on the backup and if succeeded to get the one we are searching then can release either the integrated ROM or else if possible can release as a update let it take either weeks or months. What say???

And haan if you can remember sagar have included many things which can be customise in his ROM so if you want you can go through it and the finalise our CeltICS and hey please upload the screenshots tonight so that till you upload the link to download the ROM we can control ourself.

I think sagr have included the Widget locker only as i check the link and found it looks like the same what is in sagar's ROM you can check the link and this also looks cool...

In an ADProgrammer ROM, no apps can fail to perform it's job. I've checked, everything and it's fine working. Check the availability of atleast -25 dB of radio tower signal in your area... below this level of signal, you will hear nothing. Poor reception hardware used in Micromax A75...

Also if the signal is fine, check to see for damage or bends in your headset cord that aren't straightening up by themselves. Also check to see that your jack points are securely locking the port pin inside it. If it's sluggish, do a quick marathon to Service Center and get it checked... :)

That's all the troubleshooting info you'll ever get on the internet about Micromax A75 FM Radio... ;)

No bro, I don't want to waste up my hardwork by keeping the default lockscreen. If I fail to compile the framework by tomorrow, I would use the Widget Locker and embed it inside the System. Then that would be our temporary lockscreen... till then I would try to make the real one.. :)

And by stopping developing for Micromax A75 from 1st July onwards, I meant that no more NEW roms would be made by me. Then I would completely focus on maintaining this and all my other ROM's... I've promised many people to make update.zip for them. :) Gotta keep it... :)

But you don't worry, you'll end up with the closest ICS look you could ever get. Just don't get your cellphone BRICKED by using this ROM.

This ROM is really dangerous, more than being beautiful. It can BRICK easily. Just follow proper Instructions and Guidelines by me, and you'll be completely fine... :)

Thanks bro now i m feeling some bit relaxed as we will have CeltICS on our phone which will be the most stable ROM on the forum hey what i suggest is we will try to port the original ICS for our A75 what say bro??? ;)

Uptil now it's impossible... but yes... i do have another roms plan in mind. But i won't get the time to do it. So its waste, cant think of it... :)
