ICS UK What to expect

I have a galaxy s2 which when i got it was on 2.3.3 (i think) but had to wait forever for 02 to release 2.3.5 (dont know if they ever did) so i downloaded it and installed through ODIN

Anyway, what should happen in my case for ICS? will i be getting a message to say that this is available? I have Push Message ticked.

Not too sure whether i should be waiting for something that is never going to happen.

Anyone had a message to update yet in the UK? I thought that it was released today.

I thought it was supposed to be released today too, but another user on this forum (ironass) clarified that its due to be released week commencing 19th march and not actually today.

If you want to update through the official routes, I believe you will need to put an official rom back on your phone (preferably the one you had before you flashed something new via Odin) and then update via kies.

O2 are said to be releasing their ics firmware "late march" :)
 
Does anyone know where i can get an official o2 firmware (i think 2.3.3 was what i originally had) did they ever get to 2.3.5?
 
I might have the same problem, I'm on 3UK and I updated to 2.3.5 via odin my kernel version is I9100XX KI4 do I need to change my rom first to allow me to do ICS
