If it's possible how about removing every stop app that you can not download from the marketplace. If the app isn't downloadable by preference leave it, if it can be downloaded at a later time remove them. I have some apps like car home, clock, gmail, and google talk that I never use.

If your rooted you can remove them yourself there is a good thread about it.

There is also a good rom already made that is just stock with all unnecessary applications removed, there is a good thread about that aswell.

Just dont remove gtalk or your marketplace wont work
