Help If I do a factory reset do I lose everything on sd card?

Would like to do a factory reset so my phone can start acting normal again. I have a few questions:

Will I lose data like pictures and videos on my sd card?
Will I lose root?
I have my backup pro, what does it all save when I do a restore from it?

it wont touch anything on your sdcard :)

Yes but app data remains on the sdcard. Get yourself the app called Titanium Backup its a godsend to the root crowd who frequently wipes data. You can backup and then restore any app and its data.
