If you love games on phone, avoid android.

LMAO

your excuses are horrible, all of you are basically saying "I don't really use my mobile device for gaming, and I don't need good games on my phone"

BS!

The iPhone kicks the shit out of android right now when it comes to gaming, And I would bet any money that if you could have all of the games on the iPhone ported and available for android you would all be downloading a bunch of games right away.

I don't know why some people make excuses instead of saying yes it currently sucks now, but we will get more games.

The whole point of these revolutionary phones is to reduce the amount of systems we need to carry around.

For example Camera, video camera, email client, web browser, mp3 player, portable video player,

And gaming on the iPhone is slowly defeating the PSP, and Nintendo DS, so believe me Gaming is a big feature on a phone now a days.

This device is a phone. I don't WANT it to replace my camera, camcorder, computer, or gaming device. It's meant to do all of these things in a pinch.... But remember, it's a phone first and foremost.

Your missing the key difference between CASUAL gaming and SERIOUS gaming

Hey guys easy, look I got the PS3 and the 360, too. So if I want to play a real badass game I go play RED DEAD REDEMPTION or any other game on them. But when it ones to mobile, I had the iPhone and the PSP with CUstom firmware. But once I got my iPad, I sold the psp for $100. Cause I wasn't using it for a while, and a very good game on a psp takes for ever to come out. That's why the DS, is selling more, too. The iPad you have a store on it, you get thousands of games, too choose from. The convinience of getting a game when ever and where ever is a deal breaker. A new game in the iPhone or iPad, is a lot cheaper than a game on Psp or DS, that's why the DS and the PSP, is trying to end the apples rising in mobile gaming.
Yes it's true, apple have had the app store for while now, and that's the reason it is way better than the android in gaming, right now. But my point is, if you are looking for good games on a phone, the android is not the choice right now.

And for those saying, " this is just a phone" that's BS, because I feel a lot better when I'm getting more for my money, and who doesn't want more for there money, if you want just a phone, well go and buy clam shell phone, like a Moto Razor or something like that.

Like I said I still love my phone for what it does. It's an awesome camera too. And movies look awesome too, and KICK STAND!!!!!

Hey guys mention some good game in the market too, please, KICK STAND!!!!!!!

Seriously? If you're buying a phone for it's gaming capabilities you've got other issues. I think most people use the phone for inbetween times when they don't have access to their system. When you compare iphone to the pc, xbox, playstation, wii, etc it sucks too.

DUH!!!!
Of course the ps3, 360 and PC , is better than the iPhone, when it comes too games, and guess what their better than DS and PSP, too, DUH!!

People are not buying phones, for gaming, and people are not buying phones for camera, video camera, web browsing, etc...

But guess what, your getting more for your money, because your paying for not just a phone, but for a device that has all these features in it. So now the competition is, who does it better!!!

And right now, I'm using my EVO as a HOT SPOT, with my iPad writing on this thread. Isn't that awesome or what. Thanks GOD my phone is not " JUST A PHONE".

You know, I bought alot of 3d games for my pre, and most of the time was just playing stupid silly time killer games like the helicopter one with atari graphics, so asphalt5 and golf should do me good for awhile,, my 360 on a 62inch will beat an iphone or ipad out any day.

While I also didn't buy my phone for games, I am anxiously awaiting the day Popcap decides to port Bookworm, Peggle, and/or Plants vs. Zombies.

I would pay $10 for each of those.

P.S. I am not a crackpot.

Damn, I love my Evo, but I must say, if you love gaming just like me, you must avoid it. Lucky me, I have an iPad. So I get every Gameloft, badass game and EA as well, and many others. It's embarrassing to show off paper toss game to a friend who's running Splinter Cell Conviction, on there iPhone, LOL! that's funny.
But hey I'm still enjoying the best of both worlds.

Bossible

People here really take their stuff personal. I agree with the creator of the post, since I'm sometimes in line waiting for something (movie lines for example) or waiting for food to arrive on restaurants or just waiting for my next class to start, and I would love to have something to waste 5-10 minutes of that time. Sure, I have a PSP and a DS but why would I bring my PSP or Ds to those places if all I want is to waste a little bit of time, not serious gaming. Besides, I wouldn't want to be having a PSP or DS in one pocket, the evo on the other, would look like I have two bumps on my pants, and I don't wear huge pants like some rappers do. Even if the evo is primarily a phone, its not JUST a phone and we all know that, its more of a mobile multimedia entertainment piece; which includes music, videos, and even gaming. The evo is a great piece of machine, but I mostly steal my gf's iPhone to fool around with some games for a while (which means I have no problem really, just posted cause it seems a lot of excuses are thrown around here...and I know if those options where in the evo, it would be bought right away...in a very hypocrite way.)

Wow I can't Believe how many people get offended." My ps3 is better than a phones "," games on phones suck ". Jesus, guys these are smartphones, the features the better , if you don't like these posts, go get a clamshell phone .

Raging Thunder 2, Jewellust, Snesoid, Guitar Hero 5, Home Run Battle, WaveBlazer, Real Football 2010 and Tiger Woods 09 all play simply great on the Evo...

While you don't have the depth of games that the iPhone has, the Evo has some serious fun out there - if you want to kill some time try Air Control...

Evo forum turned into iPhone vs Evo comparison. What is the point of a phone that has a lot of dropped calls, crappy network, and data usage is not unlimited. If you get stuck on highway with no reception or call gets dropped when on hold with AAA have fun sitting on the highway playing video games. Lmao.

Imarc4G, you posted this on an Android forum where 95% of the users enjoy their Evo. What did you expect?

Excuse me, you mean, where 95% of users are way too sensitive. I enjoy my EVO. And I'm not one the 95%, your talking about.

KICK STAND!!!!!

Some people like the convenience of gaming on a cell phone. You can download a new game cheap wherever and whenever you want. Also, carrying around a ds or psp is cool... if you're a 9 year old. Some people just like the coolness of an smartphone. It's very show offy. You don't see adults or teens being complemented about how cool their ds or psp is. You do, however, see people being complemented on their phones. Not everyone is a hardcore gamer. Plus, not everyone has the money to buy an ipod, a ps3, a ds, and a phone. It's just convenient to have an all in one device that doesn't excel in one particular area . Some people just like having one device that can do multiple things fine...not amazingly but fine. Smartphones don't excel in one particular area except being a phone, and sometimes not even that. You can get a printer, a fax machine, and a copier or you can get an all in one that gets the job done. Nuff said.

Lol... Why do you feel the need to show off your phone? Who cares what other people think?

I don't care what people think but I'm sure some people do. Although if I see a fully grown adult playing with a DS or a PSP, I tend to avoid them. No offence. Also, phones make some people look cooler. Look at some ugly guy with a DS... Eww. Now look at him with an Evo... Hot! lol

I'm 15 years old BTW so don't judge too much. lol. Also, phones make some people look cooler. Look at some ugly guy with a DS... Eww. Now look at him with an Evo... Hot! lol

Lol... the teen years are filled with misconceptions and self-esteem issues...
