I keep getting an error message screen is as follows:
installing from sdcard...
finding update package...
E:can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1
(no such file or subdirectory)
E: can't mound SDCARD:update.zip

i have tried renaming it: update, UPDATE, update.zip, Update.zip and none of them have worked. Could anyone help me?
If we are with T-mobile shouldn't it automatically update? Mine still say's Build RC19 though. Im not sure how this stuff works.

I would hav to agree - after droiding my update from the microSD, things seem quicker, smoother - scrolling seems smoother. Although, the GPS still stinks. Never did work correctly for me more than once or twice. Can never find my location closer than 2 miles. Terrible.
Hopefully this can be fixed with future RC's.
I've seen a lot of people saying that you can't do it with the SD card that came with the phone, which is odd because I used the one that came with the phone, and I had no problems. I'm thinking some cards had issues and some didn't? Here's a picture of the card that came with my phone (taken with my phone, with a different microSD card): <original SD card image deleted>
Thanks for all the help, the battery life is drastically improved

I had my box checked - Though I don't think it matters.
I had something like 42MB of space left, so I don't think that's the problem either.
Maybe you could go out to staples or walmart or something, buy a small minisd card, use it to upgrade, then return it saying it wasn't the right card or something like that? It would work![]()
