the coolest thing you can do with your captivate?
Other than make it do your laundry... cuz mine already does that. :D
 
The coolest thing I have to say it just widgets period, the customizability of this phone and Android in general is amazing. I've already made multiple people including a few iPhone 4 owners quite jealous of what my phone did.

I showed off the weather animations from Beautiful Widgets, I showed them a post it widget I use to display my work schedule and other reminders for myself. The list goes on and on.

I love that when I get bored of my main homescreen or others, I can completely revamp them with new wallpapers and widgets, folders, and icons. This allows every owner to really make their phone their own, unique from anyone elses Captivate.
 
well there is a little app in the market with the name vibrator that i install in my girlfriend phone and well she is very happy with it, and she in the mood more time now lol
 
I used mine to build a private island, and then it turned into an airplane and flew me there.

Seriously, though. One of the first things I did was start download audio books from booksshouldbefree.com. I download zip files, and extract them to my Audiobook folder without having to touch a PC. Freakin awesome.
 
I found this weird menu with a bunch of numbers on it. I pushed some of them and then hit this green button and then someone else started talking to me on my phone. WEIRD!!
 
Recording your drug dealing roommate talking all about his business as well as him mentioning that because we want him out that, "3 big time suppliers(pounds of bud among meth and coke)" are going to come over and "talk" with me and my other roommate.

The cop loved that recording. ;)

Postes on this forum seem to contain less and less information as time goes on. Seems to be the same old stuff recycled. It is posts like this that keep me entertained enough to check the threads everyday.

It's grounds for reasonable suspicion which could lead into a warrant. Also, I really don't care what happens after the apartment complex management listens to it and boots his ass.

Hey there. Do you have an app that allows you to download .zip files? When I try, I get "The content is not supported on this phone".
 
I love the Gmote app. Having the HTPC playing music while we've got a bunch of people over & being able to skip songs while out in the back yard by the fire pit is priceless.
 
I love being able to use my phone to control VLC media player while sitting on the couch watching them on my wall mounted 46 inch flatscreen. Also streaming any movies or music directly from my pc to my phone is also priceless.

The second best thing is remotely watching my IP PTZ cameras to keep an eye on my employees or my house while abroad is great too.

How does that work? Can you get it to work with a laptop webcam? Extra points if you can get the webcam to work while keeping the laptop password locked?!
