so far my head is running in circles...I recently rooted my evo:D:D and now im trying to make hdmiwin work but im reading that i need to find a suitable kernal for it and thats where i get lost(ive read the kernal for dummies but no succes). can u guys advice me to what kernal and rom I should pair up?

this is my evo info:

rom: evolvedrom
kernal: 2.6.35.10-more-freedom-v0.8+

help would greatly be appreciated!!

I'd try to find the XDA post for HDMIwin. I'm sure they will say what kind of kernel they recommend. And from there you can deduce what rom you need.

I'd look, but XDA takes forever to load here.

Correct for now. They have not incorporated HDMI into the new kernels yet. Once they get a good stable base, they will add things like SBC and HDMI support to the kernels we have now for 2.3.3.

i see...one more question..what is sbc?

Superior Battery Charging.......basically it is trickle charging. The stock kernel only allows battery charging to about 90% even though it says 100%. With SBC it charges the battery to 100% and maintains it until it is unplugged. There is more info in here.
