Does my triumph need the battery door in order to workif so are there any substitutes that I can use until I get one

It'll work without the battery cover, but the battery will easily fall out. Maybe a tiny piece of tape, or putting it in a case will keep the battery in
Also, the battery door acts as something of a heat sink, to conduct heat away from the cpu.
