[flaxseed23]

I was wondering what running services was on, on my phone so I went into Applications - Running Services and saw this process called IMEITracker.

It is not usually on, so I am wondering what this is, can anyone help me out here?

Thanks in advance,

I think it's part of Samsung's security and tracking service. Do you have Remote control checked in Settings/Location & privacy?

thanks for the reply. I don't have it checked. Also, this thing pops up only when I get a text message....

know anything about that?

I have Samsung tracking enabled and i don't have it in my running applications. Does it disappear when you disable GPS? Perhaps try running an anti-virus just to be safe

What do you mean by 'this thing pops up' when you get a message? Do you actually get a pop-up or does it only start appearing in running devices after receiving a message?
