ived looked everywhere and have not found some1 that CLEARLY knows how to solve this. ppl usually solve it and dont even bother to explain how they did it smh.

-well i stuck in a boot loop, i cannot access the sd card thru the phone, my computer and other computers do not recognize the sd card.

-i cannot reach the recovery, at all, it just skips the recovery when i try to access it, and just goes on the white boot screen, over and over again.

-i have removed the battery, MANY times. doesnt work either

-i got the micro sd adapter, and installed PC36IMG.zip to it, ran it and updated it, still in the boot loop -.-

i have run out of things to do to fix it, so if you please know how to, let me know. or if u have any other things to try out. thank you.

what is your hboot? what ruu have you tried?

To try to clarify.....Where did you get the file? What exactly was it? The PCIMG36.zip could be a number of different things. It just has to be named that way in order for the phone to recognize it as an update file.

PC36IMG's can be used for anything from bootanimations to recoveries, so we need to know exactly what file it is.

We need to know your H-Boot to give you the correct PCIMG26.zip

HBOOT-2.02.0000

and alright ill look around for a more specific img file to my hboot. if u know it, please do share lol

ok lets try this:PC36IMG_SuperSonic_S_Sprint_WWE_3.70.651.1_Radio_2 .15.00.11.19_NV_1.90_release_161482_signed.zip (202.01 MB)

just change the name by deleting everything but the PC36IMG part in the name. do not add any extra zips. put it on the card and let hboot scan for it and update it.

this is a ruu. this will basically install (not flash as that is done in recovery) a stock recovery and a stock rom. you will loose recovery because of this but you can at least hopefully boot up. all you will have to do is install amon ra 2.3 or another recovery if you like. you will still be rooted.

just an fyi, make sure that you know what you are flashing or installing to your phone. it will make things easier to troubleshoot if things go wrong.

ok will try this right away, and its weird, i was having fun with my phone, nothing wrong with it, and it literally randomly turned off, it just went into a bootloop -.-, ived been trying to learn from this, ived learned quite a bit, every problem is just an opportunity to learn more :)

what rom were you on before this happened?

ok so i installed the first img from ocnbrze and i was still getting bootloop, then i installed the amon ra recovery and still bootloops >.<, this is insane.

I think this might be another case like Andy had. Grrrr!

You might be screwed. :(

I've read a dozen threads on XDA about this exact issue. Folks are using CM and out of the blue it goes into a bootloop and never gets out.

Do a search for a thread called "problem" by Andy. I linked , or someone else linked a couple threads on xda, I can't remember. I'm on my phone or I'd link you directly.

Hopefully this isn't the case, and we can get you booted.

These are not mine and i have not tried these so please read completely. You can brick the phone with this.

again please read before trying. one of these solutions does say u can brick the phone. Hope this helps

ok well the only thing is that this fix is for phones that was not running cm7. i have seen this come up from time to time and it always seems to come in groups. but not sure what it is with cm7 and the reboots. if you google it you will see many threads devoted to it. many of the threads i have read there seems to be no real solution or fix.

Exactly. I've never heard of a case where it was fixed.
I'm curious to hear if Andy tried it, and if it worked.

If you were using a custom Kernel, as in one different than what came with the CM you had, I would be curious as to which one.
