Just saw a commercial on Comedy Central, Ding for $99 on contract. Wtf? I just got one a couple of weeks ago for free on contract.

I got mine last November for free when Best Buy was having the Free Phone Fridays promotion. That was great...didn't even have to pay taxes. Sold my Eris for $132 through Verizon's trade-in, too. So I essentially made $132 to upgrade to the Inc.

Same here, except I sold my Eris on craigslist for $200.

Value constantly changes. When I got my phone in August, it appraised for about $425. It appraises for $100 now.

I got $88 for my Eris on ebay's instant sale thing. Also got $154 for my incredible. It's a good alternative to Verizon''s buy back.

Yeah, I did the buy-back in November. I think up until last month, it was still going for $132 for the Eris. It's too bad that it dropped so much, but that's to be expected. I think the best options now would be Craigslist or Ebay.

I paid full retail when it came out in April so $99 is a lot better deal than that

I missed the trade-in due to a March 10 credit date, and now I can't get them to sell me one for under $100. I'm painfully frugal, so I'll have to be patient.

Doesn't mean I can't be pissed while I'm waiting.
