Incompatible Apps

So the last few apps I tried to download from the Android Marketplace I get the following message:

"This app is incompatible with your Mid-Tex Cellular Samsung SPH-M820-BST."

One of those apps is Gas Buddy and someone (Optimus I think) put the install .apk file on here and I was able to successfully install that app on my phone.

I guess my question is, is there a way to trick the Android Marketplace so that I can download any app I want? Thanks.

I have found hard to get apps by searching for the apk files and and down loading them onto the root of my memory card.

Some apps are just not compatible, such as flash. You could download them from another source and put them on sd card but they still wont work.
another such is Google goggles You can install it but it wont work. redlaser will work, and very well, but market says it wont. so its a trial and error deal, if you have a specific app in mind post it maybe someone knows if it works.
