Root Increase headphone jack

I was wondering if there was a way to get the headphone jack a little louder?
There is a thread from las July in the Evo section about it, but no fix.

I was wondering if anyone found a way to get it to increase a little with the past 8 months of playing around weve been doing to the phone...

I use PowerAmp, its an app from the market, and It has equalizers and they sound great and they are loud. You should check it out.

You can always get headphones/speakers that have their own volume control.

Thanks. It is for a friend, so ill have him check out that app.
I know the DSP eq that comes in most roms is i nice little help too, but sometimes not much louder.

Yeah I have never messed with the DSP Eq. I try not to. I'm afraid of it haha.

I could have sworn there was a flashable zip somewhere that increased hp volume.

There is an app called Louder volume in the app store for Rooted phones. Don't know anything about it just that i had seen it today while looking for DSP's
