Well then, it looks like the Dinc4G just became more expensive. If it's delayed/not announced by April 22, I might have to go with a different phone.

I checked again today and the Dinc2 is listed last all the way at the bottom with a red banner that shows "This item is temporarily out of stock"...

I'm a bit confused on the clarifications of it though. From what I'm reading online if your currently in a contract, and your upgrading, the fee does not apply. But if you are an existing customer and you need to sign a new contract, then the fee does apply? I'm not really sure how it'll work.Yeah, that's dumb...

By upgrading you would be signing a new contract and therefore have to pay the fee. Good thing I buy my phones full retail so I don't have to worry about this.

finally some pics!! glad to hear that it'll have NFC, and that it's "very light". But the 4" screen threw me off. I'm used to the 4.3" on my DX. Now all we need is confirmed release date and battery info.
I really hope 2 things - the screen is a 4.3" and the processor is an s4. I like the design on it and would absolutely love to get this phone on the 26th (well I would most likely preorder). Thank you android police much appreciated! You are by far the only police I like!
btw - the $30 fee is BS, you already made me wait 2 freakin years for a new phone. I wonder if you complain enough if they will waive it.

I don't really like it either.
It's like the design of this phone is all over the place. Shiny metal, matte textured plastic looking rubberized material, it's like I don't know how to look at it...

True while I do not like the color, it sounds like it will have interchangeable back covers? I really want a white one like in the original pics+1

I actually really like the look of this phone, a lot! Very sleek and attractive looking, not sure what the complaints are all about. I'm starting to actually lean towards this phone over waiting who knows how long for the Droid Fighter. I guess at this point is all going to be determined by how well the battery life is compared to the Droid Razr Maxx.

From what it seems (or atleast from what I have always seen or heard) if the back cover is removable so is the battery. Phones that do not have removable batteries tend to have non-removable back covers, or atleast make them extremely difficult.

I actually hope it is a 4 inch screen. If you want a 4.3 phone get the rezound. I think if it is named after the incredible it will be 4inch screen. Hopefully off contract isn't too much. This is looking like a really nice phone. If it has the s4 I will probably buy it.
On the contrary, if the Inc line follows what they've done in the past they'll have the 4.3" screen. The OG DInc had a 3.7" and the DInc2 has a 4" so what naturally comes next would be the 4.3".
I'm not saying that's what I want, nor am I saying I don't want it. It all depends on how it feels and looks in my hand. I have become very accustomed to the 4" screen on my DInc2 but have occasionally had cravings for something a bit (just a bit) larger. I think my thumbs get used to typing on a certain sized screen and then get sloppy and want more room. That's pretty much what happened when I moved from my Eris to the DInc2. At first the 4" screen seemed HUGE, but lately it has felt like it's on the small side of what would be acceptable. As what I do on the phone expands, so does my desire for real estate I think.
All that being said, I'm betting it does have the 4". Just by the looks of the photos.
EDIT:
The whole "If you want a 4.3 phone get the rezound" thing is invalid. Just because the Rezound is a beast physically (without the specs we *hope to* find on the DInc4G) and I really couldn't get used to the pink soft keys.
Interchangeable covers would be sweet! +1
