This is crazy, Verizon just announced the HTC Rezound 4G on their homepage for $79.99 w/ 2 yr contract Reg $199.99.
I'd say that puts the Incredible 4G to hit soon. LOL
That's Verizon's Incredible 4G announcement.Code:
You cannot swap SIMs between verizon LTE phones The SIM ESN is tied to the IMEI of the actual device.
how u figure?That's Verizon's Incredible 4G announcement.
Did it remove the ability to click on links?
Of course it's intentional. People who want to upgrade are going to pay a lot more to Verizon no matter what - whether you buy it for full retail price or upgrade yourself out of a crappy 2GB internet plan. Notice their 4 GB promotion is just quietly/suddenly gone at this time when we all need it most!I said this from the get go and I don't think it is anything except intentional on Verizon's part.

Then why offer the GS3 for pre-order? I disagree with your supposition.
Well, you have to understand that people in this thread are Incredible 4g-centric and, I found, not always rational.

Most carriers have a one series phone as well. Att with the one x, sprint with the evo 4g, tmo with the one s. But yea, you are right, verizon doesn't have a clue to what is going on.I think Big Red are doing the S3 now because all the other carriers here in the US are doing the same. However they have more flexibility with the Inc 4g.
Either that or they don't have the first bloody clue as to what the hell they're doing....![]()
For what it's worth (not much), I talked separately this week to a store sales person and the Verizon rep for my employer. Both looked up the DINC 4g in the Verizon system and both reported its status as "In Testing" with no release date given.
Does Verizon usually report a phone as "In Testing" until the moment it's released? If not, it does sound like some unanticipated problem - i.e. keeping the phone "in testing" at the same time that they are shipping advertising material.

Well, gave up on DINC 4G and pulled the trigger on the Rezound. Can't beat $29.99 after $50 upgrade credit. The only downside is the battery, but i can buy the larger battery and be ahead of the game.
