Incredible Is GONE! Now The Wait Is On...

I returned the Incredible back to Verizon today and re activated my Storm2. I have to say the HTC phones are pretty cheap and flimsy feeling compared to a Blackberry. If there is one thing I hate about both the Inc and the EVO its the Tupperware battery doors. YUCK! Still I can't wait to get my hands on the worlds most advanced smart phone even though the parts look like they could be dishwasher safe! :D

Honestly, I'm not sure the battery door would hold up in the dishwasher as well as tupperware. My hope is that some 3rd party company comes out with a better battery door cover.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would want a Storm over, well, just about anything. I'd rather have a StarTac. The Storm looks nice and has a nice heavy build but is still a POS to use. I'd rather keep my Pre than use a Storm (even a Storm 2).

Yes the Storm2 has its flaws so did the Incredible. I'm sure the EVO will bring its own set of wonkyness to the table as well. No such thing as a perfect handset.

Everything is relative so it's not meant as a personal insult. Having said that, the Storm is the worst phone I've ever tried to use. It's good while you're actually on a phone call but sucks at everything else.

YMMV, but I seriously doubt it.

aww but how else are you suppose to clean a motherboard that someone spillled soda on...
lol dont ask dont ask...
was building a pc for a friend and he walked over and spilled my drink on his mobo...
washed it in the skin and all was good.
... not jokin ither lol

So let me get this straight, you are hoping a 3rd party will make a dishwasher safe battery door? :p

and another troll hits the forums......enjoy your storm. I just told my wife what you wrote and she just laughed. She wanted a crapberry till she used one. lol Go back to your little storm forums and troll there. I have held the evo and its not a cheep feeling device. Now I will agree the incredible feels cheep.....but thats the only one do date that I have seen that felt cheep.

Your still a troll....go away.

Did you read his entire post? He is getting an EVO....

Have you read his other posts? He always ends up returning every phone because he hates something about it. I liked the comment that HTC phones seem flimsy...gee, who makes the EVO??? He had quite a name for himself on Crackberry for the same reasons.

You want to talk about cheap battery doors? How about the BlackBerry Tour's that creaked every time I typed. Damn, that thing was annoying!

Enjoy your far less functional Storm, over the EVO and Inc, both of which are far more capable and functional devices. Ignorance is bliss :)

Heck, my old G1 blows the Storm away from capability and functionality standpoints :)

Ohhhh my, a Storm 2 over an incredible. I have to Disagree! The storm should not even bear the BB name, garbage. However the incredible has its flaws, but I won't take the storm over the Incredible. With that being said, if your dumping the incred for the EVO, that's ok, still keepin it in the famm...lol! Build quality on my HD2 was awesome, hoping for the same with the EVO.

You're not very literate, are you? The OP is doing the same thing I'm doing: getting an EVO. We both bought the Incredible at release, but are returning it within the 30 day return period. Unfortunately that leaves a small gap of two weeks or so when we need to re-activate our old phone until the EVO release date. In my case, it means living with my Storm 1 for 10 days.
