Help Incredible randomly quits vibrating

Hello. I have had 2 Incredibles in the last week. I'm new to an all touch phone, so the vibration feedback helps when typing. Anyways I returned my phone last week for a new phone after 3 days because the vibration randomly quit, then all together. I have checked my settings for the feedback. Also when it quits ( it actually just stopped) it won't vibrate when receiving a call, text, etc. Anyone have an idea what could be wrong?
Thanks
Joe

Back in the day, random vibe issues were often solved by downloading the app Sound Manager. Choose the vibe whenever possible option and it magically worked. Not sure if that's still a fix or not. Frankly I havent heard mention of this problem for a long time...like back on 2.1. May be worth a shot though.

Go to the Android market on your phone and download "Sound Manager". Open it and press Menu > Vibrate Settings. There are 2 instances of "vibrate whenever possible" that you can select...one under ringer settings and one under notification settings. They may be selected that way be default, if not select both of those options. Then just back out of the app and you're done.

Something about simply having that app on our phones kept the vibrate working from then on. Not sure anyone ever figured out why and I'm also not sure if this trick is still applicable on the 2.2 software. Just giving you an old tip that might still be of use.
