Does anyone know how to set the phone up when you take a picture or video that is saves it on the memory card? Also, without connecting the phone to the computer does anyone know when the memory file is on the phone? Like where are my pics saved so I can transfer my pics and video to the memory card?

Open your camera, slide the little options menu out, go down to the gears icon, and then choose storage. You should see 2 options, Phone & Storage Card.

When you connect the phone to a computer, the internal and external storage come up. In both of those navigate DCIM. Your pictures are held in there.

Rooting seems to be the only option for this. Once rooted, there's a handful of different methods for doing this, it's just a matter of personal preference and ease of use.

You could just use Launcher pro, it can hide them so they won't appear in you apps list. Or you could use App Organizer, which is a great way of organizing apps so you can access them via categories (and hide the ones you don't want to ever see.

I know I have seen this before, but can't find it in search. If I have a mixture of phone and Google contacts on my phone, is there a way to send them to the sd card, then import themn all as Google contacts??

People -> menu -> import/export -> export to SD card

edit: jk didn't read i don't know if there's a way to do that. sorry haha

You were partially right. Select Menu Export, Export to SD card, Phone.

After that you want to delete all the contacts in the apps Phone list (so you don't have duplicate entries), Menu, Delete. Up comes a list of your contacts, select Menu, Select All, Delete.

After that choose Menu, Import, Import from SD card, Google.

And by just tapping it it brings up the rest of the symbols and it is 2 pages, by pressing the 1/2 on the bottom left you can access the rest of the symbols. But yes, tap and hold is very handy.

Not sure if this little tidbit has been mentioned before, but I've read a few other posts out there where people have become put off by their inability to get rid of old, unused, or multiple downloads of the same ringtones on their phone. However, like everything else these days, there's an app for that!

It's called "Delete Ringtone Pro." It'll cost ya a buck, but I found it to be VERY useful! It'll even get rid of all those unused and unwanted Verizon stock ringtones that are SO cheesy! Hope this helps! :)

One cool thing that I just recently found by accident is that if you long press on the home button, it will bring up a list of the 8 most recent applications you've used. Kind of handy.

How can I organize shortcuts in the corners of my desktop screen. With a half circle around. As seen in screenshots of the ics theme for the mini.
