instagram!

Lol. It seems that Instagram has hit the point of the its so popular, so it must be lane mentality.

Two questions: does it have the zero shutter lag and can you use volume buttons to take picture?

I must be missing something. How is this any fun? Surely, there's more to it than the trees across the bottom??

PicSay sure seems to do more, but then again, I'm probably missing something.

Hmmm.......looks like I misunderstood what Instagram is: it's not a photo-editing program but rather a posting program to be used for uploading to social media. My bad. :)

Haven't really played with it BT

And I likely won't, my gf has over 600 pics of our daughter and I'll likely just follow her + a few friends

Lol its an app, been on iOS for awhile now.

Links with Facebook and twitter and adds filters to photos u share with hash tags

Sure theres lots of apps like this already but the community is fastest growing one online period. 27 million users before it hit droid today

Or you could have just Googled it, its kind of a big deal.

This is more of a lounge type discussion and seems already to be started in another thread. I feel a merge coming on.

I signed up for it today, and have yet to play with it... BUt I think this picture is funny.....

I tried it out and didn't like it, we already have the option to share with Facebook and Twitter. Plus, there are much better photo editors that are available for Android.

I guess I just don't get it.

Tried it today, and am HUGELY disappointed. Does the Instagram on iOS only have 12 or so filters (my phone is off, can't count exact amount right now)? I've been using Camera360 for all my photo filtering needs, but always believed Instagram was superior because of the addition to noise to your photos. But after trying it and seeing there is close to zero customization, I'm going to stick with Camera360. Also, the fact you have to upload your pics to their social network, is a huge turn off as well. If I'm doing something wrong here, someone please tell me. However, as far as I'm concerned, Camera360 is 100x better.

I thought the "big" deal about instagram was that you could take a picture edit it and make it look cool/however you want and then, for a fee, send it to any address as a postcard with a personalized greeting or message straight from the app/your phone... Is that what all hoopblah is about???

Maybe I misunderstood...
I thought that was all it did...
Haven't installed it...
I would just email the picture...
Then again, I don't use Facebook or any social networking sites... Just AF here...

I think it's more the social aspect of the app that drives it. The editing and filtering you can fine many third party apps that does this.

Plus now it will probably be developed for Windows Phones, too.

There goes the neighborhood.:D

I only do FB to deal with someone like an app developer.

Ok maybe I am just a knob or something but why do ppl refer to Instagram as something Hipster's use? What does that mean? Sorry, I am 35 and maybe too old for this stuff but I hear it being labelled as this and am curious. ;)
